Kemper Sauce Studios
We’re a Cincinnati based arts and engineering collective with an inventive drive and a whole list of bad ideas.
Our team members embody a wide spread of engineering expertise; From audio to software to electrical engineering, our skills give us the know-how to tackle big concepts and design whole experiences from the ground up. We have a real passion for creating fun things and tackling difficult problems, and our installation projects allow us to do both, with extra sauce.
Robby Blum
Hardware
Founding Kemper Sauce Studios in 2019, Robby uses his experience with hobby electronics, interactive games, and design to lead the Kemper Sauce Studios’ hardware development team. From constructing 19’ towers to hand soldering custom made microchips, Robby uses his expertise to guide the rest of the team and those working alongside.
Alicia Blum
Electrical
With core experience as an Electrical Engineer designing lighting and power systems for sites and buildings, her framework expands into project coordination and construction management. Collaborating on large scale projects engages extended skill sets and fuels her passion for impactful design.
Brian Bailey
Software
Outside of his professional career in the world of software engineering, he spends his free time working on passion projects and the occasional side-gig. He joined Kemper Sauce Studios when they founded in 2019 to coordinate and construct the modular software ecosystem that powers Kemper Sauce’s projects.
Jon Bedell
Creative
After a career change into tech from Environmental Science and Visual Arts, he applied his diverse background into becoming a key member in the development of Kemper Sauce Studios. Since then, Jon has continued to hone his development skills in his role as a web developer at GE Aerospace and creative skills in his quarantine obsessions of synthesizers and tabletop role playing games.
Charlie Tekulve
Audio
Charlie is a master of musical modes and microphones, from miniscule to massive. He affects sound effects and musical tracks for Kemper Sauce’s audible installations.
